Ingredientes
1 pacote de massa folhada laminada de 300g
½ xícara (chá) de açúcar cristal
1 colher (chá) de canela em pó
Modo de preparo
Descongele a massa folhada conforme as instruções da embalagem.
Em uma tigelinha, misture o açúcar cristal com a canela e reserve.
Desenrole a massa, mantendo o plástico embaixo, e polvilhe toda a superfície com a mistura de açúcar e canela.
Passe o rolo sobre a massa levemente para fixar o açúcar.
Forre a bancada com papel manteiga e coloque a massa aberta em cima, com o lado polvilhado de açúcar virado para baixo. Polvilhe o açúcar cristal com a canela por toda a superfície e passe o rolo novamente sobre a massa para fixar o açúcar.
Enrole as laterais maiores da massa até o centro, a partir das duas pontas, até que os rolinhos se encontrem no meio. Aperte delicadamente para “colar” os dois rolinhos. Enrole no plástico e leve ao congelador por 20 minutos.
Enquanto a massa descansa no freezer, pré-aqueça o forno a 180°C.
Retire a massa do congelador e corte em fatias de 1 cm de espessura. Coloque-as em uma assadeira antiaderente ou forrada com papel manteiga, dando uma distância de 3 dedos entre cada uma.
Polvilhe com mais um pouco de açúcar e canela. Asse por 15 a 20 minutos, ou até que os biscoitos estejam dourados. Retire do forno e deixe esfriar antes de servir. Os palmiers duram até 3 dias armazenados num pote com fechamento hermético.
Rendimento: 25 a 30 biscoitos.
