Inglaterra foi o último destino da minha Confraria! A cada mês “visitamos” um país diferente e, desta vez, fiz uma homenagem à tradição britânica do Afternoon Tea.
Adoro promover encontros ao redor da mesa, e o Chá da Tarde é uma refeição deliciosa para reunir amigos e familiares, seja para colocar o papo em dia ou para celebrar uma ocasião especial.
As mulheres que estiveram aqui comigo saborearam quitutes tradicionais e ainda levaram para casa uma apostila com todas as receitas, além de dicas de como planejar um autêntico Chá da Tarde inglês.
No cardápio, minisanduíches de pepino, cream cheese, cebolinha e hortelã; e de rosbife defumado, queijo gouda, maionese de dijon e mel. Sucesso absoluto foram os Scones, pãozinho leve e macio servido com creme (clotted cream) e geleia de morango e maracujá. E ainda tivemos muffin de chocolate e crocante de maçã e canela.
Mas a estrela da tarde foi o chá maravilhoso da @guyra.te que encantou com sua delicadeza e harmonia. Servi dois blends da coleção “Pássaros canoros do nosso jardim”: João de Barro (chá preto com especiarias), e Trinca-ferro (capim cidreira, abacaxi e canela), que combinaram lindamente com os quitutes.
Foi uma tarde deliciosa com um grupo de queridas. Obrigada pela presença e pelo carinho. ❤️
