Feito de sêmola de trigo, o cuscuz (ou couscous) é muito versátil e pode ser usado como base para saladas, acompanhamentos ou pode até substituir o arroz em diversos preparos. O melhor é que é muito fácil de fazer, nem precisa cozinhar, basta hidratar em algum líquido quente (água, caldo de legumes/frango ou suco de laranja). A hidratação permite que os grãos de sêmola absorvam a água e inchem, criando uma textura fofa, leve e macia.
Confira a receita:
Ingredientes
- 1 xícara (chá) de cuscuz marroquino
- 1 colher (sopa) de azeite
- 1 colher (chá) de sal
- 1 xícara (chá) de caldo de laranja (cerca de 2 laranjas-baía)
Modo de Preparo
Numa tigela média, coloque o cuscuz marroquino e tempere com o azeite e o sal.
Coe o caldo de laranja sobre uma jarra de vidro e leve para aquecer no micro-ondas por cerca de 1 minuto (não deixe ferver para não amargar).
Regue o cuscuz com o caldo, misture e tampe com um prato para abafar. Deixe hidratar por cerca de 5 minutos. Solte os grãos com um garfo e utilize na receita da sua preferência.
Serve 4 pessoas.
